In the first quarter of 2025, the Film & Television category on Android in El Salvador saw distinct trends across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Netflix experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 10.8K and gradually dropping to 4.7K by the end of March. However, weekly active users showed resilience, increasing from 520.9K in early January to 520.5K by the quarter's end.

PlutoTV: Live TV & Free Movies saw varied download numbers, peaking at 10.9K in the first week of January before fluctuating throughout the quarter. Active users reflected this pattern, with a rise from 19.7K to a high of 22.6K, then settling at 15.9K.

For ViX: TV, Deportes y Noticias, weekly revenue reached a peak of approximately $2.6K in late February. Downloads fluctuated moderately around the 5K mark, while active users saw a slight decrease from 150.5K to 126K.
